This work experience placement offers a behind-the-scenes look at how a large horticultural business operates, giving you exposure to different areas of the organisation and how teams work together in a professional environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
During the placement, you may:
- Research trends in indoor plants, home décor, and sustainability that will directly impact the development of hardware.
- Conduct basic competitor and range analysis
- Share insights and ideas with the wider NPD (New Product Development) team
- Learning about the different aspects of the NPD process (from start to finish)
- Support the development and sourcing of plant pots and containers
- Support day-to-day activities within the plants business
- Help preparing samples for presentation Trend research that will directly impact the development of hardware
- Work alongside experienced team members and learn about different roles
- Gain an understanding of how projects are planned and delivered
Tasks will be explained clearly, and support will be provided throughout the placement.
