About the Opportunity
This is a hands-on, entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work and wants to learn how exhibition stands, event structures, and bespoke installations are built and installed.
As a Trainee Installation and Stand Builder, you’ll join a skilled team and learn the trade from experienced professionals. Full training is provided, making this a great first step into careers linked to construction, events, fabrication, and installation.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll:
- Assist with the construction, installation, and dismantling of exhibition stands and event structures
- Learn to work with materials such as wood, metal, aluminium systems, and graphics
- Support senior installers both on-site and in the workshop
- Safely use hand and power tools under supervision
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment
- Follow technical drawings, plans, and instructions
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Support basic problem-solving tasks on site

Requirements
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends when required
- Willingness to travel to different sites (including occasional overnight stays)
- Basic understanding of tools or construction is helpful but not essential
- Full driving licence preferred, but not required
