About the Opportunity

Hinchingbrooke Hospital is offering an opportunity to join their team as a Food Service Assistant, working within the NHS Catering Team.

In this role, you’ll help provide meals for patients, staff, and visitors while supporting a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in healthcare catering, working as part of a team in a fast-paced and meaningful setting.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting the preparation and service of meals
• Carrying out basic food preparation, packing, and labelling
• Cleaning kitchen equipment and maintaining hygiene standards
• Operating pot washing and food service systems
• Working across different areas of the kitchen
• Following health, safety, and food hygiene procedures
