Overview

Results Day can bring up all kinds of feelings – relief, pressure, pride, disappointment, or just not knowing what comes next. That goes for young people and for the parents and carers trying to support them.

This is a chance to connect with Pilar, who is offering one-to-one, informal support for young people navigating their results – and for parents/carers who want to better understand how to support their child through this key moment.

Whether you’re figuring out your next steps, or figuring out how to help someone else do that – you’re not alone.

What’s on Offer

For Young People
  • A calm space to talk, reflect, vent or plan
  • Help thinking through realistic and positive next steps
  • Encouragement from someone who understands the pressure
  • Reassurance: You’re allowed to feel uncertain – and it doesn’t mean you’ve failed.
For Parents & Carers
  • Support in understanding how to show up on results day
  • Non-judgemental conversation about expectations and pressure
  • Practical ideas for reframing the conversation at home
  • Space to ask, reflect, and talk it through with someone who gets it

Who It’s For

  • Young people receiving their GCSE or A Level results this summer
  • Parents, carers or guardians supporting them
