Based at The Green Backyard in Peterborough, this opportunity offers a mix of hands-on outdoor volunteering and creative/remote roles, giving you the chance to explore different interests and develop practical experience in a supportive environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
You can get involved in a range of roles depending on your interests:
1-Gardening & Outdoor Roles
- Supporting garden maintenance and plant care
- Helping with seasonal planting and nursery work
- Assisting with site upkeep and welcoming visitors
- Supporting community workshops (Fridays & Saturdays)
2- Creative & Digital Roles
- Capturing content during workshops (filming & editing)
- Creating social media content and templates
- Supporting impact tracking and reporting (data, surveys, insights)
3-Practical & Build Projects
- Helping with community builds and garden projects
- Supporting the creation of a wormery (compost system)
- Learning or using basic carpentry skills
