About the Opportunity

From 25-27 March 2026, Anthropy will take over the entire Eden Project for its national gathering bringing together 2,000 people from across the UK for over 200 sessions, all focused on shaping a more united, positive future for the United Kingdom.

Volunteers play a vital role in making Anthropy possible. By getting involved, you’ll be right at the heart of a major national event, supporting speakers, guests, and sessions while gaining valuable experience in event delivery and public engagement.

Volunteers receive £20 daily in expenses for each attended day (including the training day), to go towards incurred expenses like travel, petrol, food etc.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Anthropy volunteer, you may support the event in a variety of roles, including:

  • Room Management: Managing room capacities and checking guests into sessions

  • Wayfinding: Using signage and the Anthropy app to guide speakers and attendees to sessions

  • Guest Support: Answering questions about the event, session timings, catering, and using the Anthropy app

You’ll be fully briefed and supported, with a training day on 24 March strongly recommended for anyone new to volunteering.

The Impact You’ll Have

Anthropy would not be possible without its volunteers.

By taking part, you’ll:

  • Support meaningful national conversations and collaboration

  • Be part of a cross-sector movement influencing policy, practice, and partnerships

  • Help create a welcoming, well-organised experience for everyone attending

You are part of the change.

Who It’s For

This opportunity is ideal for people who are:

  • Friendly, welcoming, and enthusiastic

  • Reliable with good time-management skills

  • Interested in topics such as climate and environment, agriculture, social impact, education, health, inequality, economic prosperity, and future generations

No previous event experience is required, just a positive attitude and willingness to help.

Travel Information

  • Local volunteers only (or have means of accommodation): Accommodation is not provided

  • Free coach available each morning and evening from Falmouth University (Penryn Campus)

  • Volunteers can also drive, with car sharing encouraged where possible
