About the Project
The Big Listen is a community event taking place on Friday, 5th June 2026 in St Neots’ Market Square, bringing together the local community for a day of connection and celebration.
Description of Volunteering Position
As a Content Creator for The Big Listen, you’ll produce engaging multimedia content in the weeks leading up to the event. Working alongside the Content & Storytelling Lead and Social Media Manager, you’ll bring creativity and energy to our pre-event campaign through videos, photos, and other digital content.
Responsibilities
- Create short-form video content, reels, and other multimedia assets for social media
- Capture and edit photos and video to support the pre-event campaign
- Collaborate with the content and social media teams to deliver content on time
- Adapt content for different platforms and audiences
Requirements
- Experience creating digital content for social media or marketing purposes
- Comfortable using video and photo editing tools
- Creative eye with strong attention to detail
- Reliable, organised and able to meet deadlines
