About the Project
The Big Listen is a community event taking place on Friday, 5th June 2026 on St Neots’ Market Square, bringing together the local community for a day of connection and celebration.
Description of Volunteering Position
As a Hospitality Host, you will be the first point of contact for VIP guests and speakers, ensuring they feel welcomed and well looked after throughout the event. You’ll wear a purple identifier to help guests recognise you.
Responsibilities
- Welcome VIP guests and speakers on arrival
- Ensure VIP needs are taken care of throughout the event
- Act as the main point of contact for VIPs during the day
Requirements
- Good interpersonal skills
- Interest or experience in hospitality (desirable)
- Interest in taking first aid training, or an existing first aid qualification (desirable)
