About the Project
The Big Listen is a community event taking place on Friday, 5th June 2026 on St Neots’ Market Square, bringing together the local community for a day of connection and celebration.
Description of Volunteering Position
As a Steward, you will be stationed around the event space, helping to distribute microphones to attendees and keeping a watchful eye on the wellbeing of those around you. You’ll wear a yellow identifier so attendees can easily spot you.
Responsibilities
- Stationed around the table to give out microphones to attendees
- Monitor the wellbeing of attendees throughout the event
- Carry out crowd control plans if needed
Requirements
- Good communication skills
- Calm and reliable under pressure
- Willingness to get involved and support the team

- We are looking for a minimum of 8 Stewards
