Inspire 2 Ignite joins local lottery to boost fundraising – and invites other good causes to join in
Inspire 2 Ignite is excited to be one of the organisations taking part in the Cambridgeshire Community Lottery, a local fundraising initiative designed to help charities and community groups raise money all year round.
Launched this May, the lottery offers supporters the chance to win weekly prizes – including a top prize of £25,000 – while directly supporting their chosen cause. Tickets cost just £1 per week, with 50p going straight to the selected charity, and another 10p supporting wider community projects across Cambridgeshire.
“This is such a simple way for people to support us on a regular basis. We’re always looking for sustainable ways to raise funds, and the community lottery gives us an exciting new route without extra admin or upfront costs.”
The initiative, developed and run by Cambridgeshire Community Foundation, is free for local charities, schools, PTAs, sports clubs, and community groups to join. Each participating organisation receives a custom lottery page and URL, making it easy to promote through newsletters, social media, and events.
