Welcoming new care leavers to the Ignite Programme
This week, we are proud to welcome some new crew members to the Ignite programme. What’s even more impactful is that nearly half of this month’s new joiners are Care Leavers – young adults who have been in the care of local authorities.
“I feel alot better everytime after the (Ignite Programme) calls. I will keep following up, thanks for the advice.”
Leon, Curious Entrepreneur on the Ignite Programme Tweet
What does it mean to be an Igniter?
It means being part of a tight-knit crew of 16-24-year-olds who are building businesses together with our support, and inspiring each other to achieve their goals. Igniters meet once a month for in-person meetings as a group, facilitated by our Ignition Coach. Twice per week the group meets online, along with one personal coaching session per week. They also get to connect with other Igniters and Curious Entrepreneurs through our Discord community.
Through our work in the Care Leavers space, we are getting an in-depth understanding of some of the unique challenges that many Care Leavers face in their lives. We are thrilled to welcome the new Igniters to the programme, where they’ll receive tailored support to help them build their businesses and reach their full potential.
We believe that everyone deserves a chance to succeed, regardless of their background or circumstances, and we’re committed to making that happen.
Joining a supportive community
One of the new Igniters who joined this week, a Care Leaver who has a developed a unique and innovative product, hopes to launch their business with the support of the Ignite Programme. We’re excited to see what they’ll achieve and how they’ll inspire other young people along the way.
Being an Igniter is about more than just building a business. It’s about being part of a community that supports each other, learns from each other, and grows together.
If you’re 16-24 and are interested in joining the Ignite Programme book a call with Sam today.
