As a Relief Security Officer, you’ll do more than protect sites; you’ll help people feel safe, welcomed, and supported. This role offers a professional entry into the security industry with strong training, development, and progression opportunities from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this varied, hands-on role, you’ll support safety and security across multiple sites. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preventing and deterring unauthorised access
• Monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems
• Carrying out internal and external patrols
• Managing keys and locking/unlocking buildings
• Maintaining logs and security records
• Issuing visitor and contractor passes
• Supporting traffic control and parking restrictions

(This role varies by site and shift, offering a wide range of experience.)

Who They’re Looking For

This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, professional, and comfortable taking responsibility.

You must have:

• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
• The right to work in the UK
• Willingness to work 12-hour day and night shifts
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive attitude and desire to learn

Desirable (training provided if not held):

• Valid SIA licence
• First Aid qualification
• Customer service or security experience

Important: A 5-year work or activity history is required for screening (bank statements or education certificates can be used if employment history is limited).
