About the Opportunity
Looking for something more active and hands-on than traditional college?
MPCT Military Academy Cambridge helps young people build the fitness, confidence, qualifications and skills they need to take their next step. It’s particularly suited to those interested in the Armed Forces, emergency services or other uniformed careers, but you don’t have to join the military after completing the programme.
Training is led by former British Armed Forces personnel and combines 50% physical training with 50% academic learning, giving you the chance to learn in a practical and supportive environment.
What You’ll Do
Depending on your pathway, you could:
- Take part in regular fitness, outdoor and team activities
- Build leadership, teamwork and communication skills
- Learn military skills such as navigation and fieldcraft
- Meet military professionals and explore different careers
- Work towards recognised qualifications
- Improve your English and maths
- Get help with CVs, interviews and planning your next steps
You don’t need to already be fit or have previous qualifications to join, you’ll be supported to develop at your own level.
