About the Project
The “Men’s Hems” sessions provide a safe, welcoming space for men to connect, learn practical skills, and improve well-being through creative activity.
Description of Volunteering Position
As a Men’s Hems volunteer, you will support participants during sessions, helping them with sewing tasks while encouraging engagement and confidence.
Responsibilities
Supporting sewing and mending activities
Encouraging participation and conversation
Helping create a welcoming and inclusive environment
Requirements
Basic sewing skills (helpful but not essential)
Friendly, supportive attitude

Sessions run Tuesday evenings (7–9 pm)
