Volunteer Opportunity: Minibus Driver with Inspire 2 Ignite

About the Opportunity

This volunteer role supports young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) by helping
remove one of the biggest barriers they face: transport. As a Volunteer Minibus Driver, you will play a vital role in
ensuring young people can safely access training, work experiences, and community opportunities delivered by
Inspire 2 Ignite.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Driving young people to and from programmes, training, work experiences, and community opportunities
• Operating the Inspire 2 Ignite 17-seat minibus safely and responsibly
• Ensuring young people feel safe, supported, and reassured during journeys
• Communicating clearly with the Inspire 2 Ignite team about timings and logistics
• Being a friendly, calm, and consistent presence during transport

Requirements

• Ability to drive a 17-seat minibus
• Hold a D1 licence OR be over 21 with a clean driving licence and a minimum of 2 years’ driving experience
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
• Commitment to following all Inspire 2 Ignite policies and procedures, including safeguarding
• Confidence driving young people safely and responsibly
